These deeply land-based somatic re-patterning workshops are also called Process Workshops or Womb Surrounds. This format of workshop was originally developed by Ray Castillino. I did my training with Myrna Martin and also spent time with Ray Castillino. The land-based format of these workshops is based on Indigenous Tools For Living developed by Shirley Turcotte.

The first day we will go to a glacial creek and smudge to prepare for the workshop. On the last day we will do a sweat and have a meal of locally caught wild salmon to complete the circle. This will be facilitated by Wesley Joseph from Xaxli’p Band.
