September 7 - 10th, 2018

A four-day somatic exploration, following the model of the Pre and Perinatal Psychology trainings, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Qi Gong in Lillooet, British Columbia.

In this workshop we will dive into an exploration of cord dynamics. Cord dynamics originate from when we were growing our bodies in the womb via our umbilical cord.

CAD $700* (non-refundable deposit $70)
*Price includes one follow-up session which can be either a craniosacral therapy session or a Pre and Perinatal session over Skype

As we grew our body our nourishment came to us through our umbilical cord. Many of our dynamics around digestion, receiving, and boundaries come from this original place.

The spiraling nature of these dynamics also show up in how we birth ourselves and our projects, and how we deepen into the layers of ourselves. We will do some work with labyrinths to assist the felt sense of this deepening.

We will also explore our bellies with a Qi Gong form that unwinds our guts and deepens our experience of our naval and the felt sense of the phantom umbilical cord that still connects us to our mother earth and our roots through our gut connection and our microbiome.

This workshop is open to individuals who are interested in working with their ‘umbilical affect’. We will be somatically exploring our very early experiences, from an evolutionary perspective as well as from a personal perspective i.e. our time growing in the womb. This can bring up challenging experiences so participants need to have a certain level of grounding and ability to hold their witness-self. Participants need to fill out an application and do a Skype interview to apply.
