Birth Process Workshop, Redwood City, CA
Facilitated by Susan Hall
The intention of a Birth Process Workshop is to create safety in a nurturing small group container in order to do deep healing work.
Participants have the opportunity to heal and re-pattern early experiences and then bring this healing to their current primary relationships. Each participant has a long session to explore her/his/their own physical and emotional patterns from prenatal, birth or early life experiences with support from the whole group.
Sharing of group members, integration and discussion follows each individual session. Not all sessions involve prenatal, birth or attachment themes. Each session is unique and participants may also do important work from other periods of their life. The intention of each participant is the guiding theme for the individual session.
This format was created to support the most powerful transformations that can happen in a safe and nurturing small group. Profound emotional and physical changes can occur when we heal early issues in a safe and supportive space. Principles of safety are followed so that participants can actively support each other through the workshop. The long amount of time together allows integration of material from each of the sessions. Each person also receives a debriefing time, which further supports integration of the session.
Participants need to arrange to attend the entire workshop, as this is important for each person to feel safety and security in the group.
