Myrna and her husband Ken are  offering two  two week residential pre and perinatal educational events at her retreat center in Nelson BC  June 29 – July 10 ’15 and  July 27 to Aug 7,’15.  This experience will include both cognitive information and be over 50% experiential.  She is also offering one residential process workshop August 25 –25=9 ’15 at her center in Nelson.  Myrna and Ken are  accepting deposits and applications now.  These opportunities for the residentials fill quickly so do email Myrna soon if you may be interested.   Come and enjoy the hiking, water sports and pristine environment of the Kootenays and experience deep healing in a nurturing, safe surround.

What is it that Families and Babies Really Want and Need


  •   Myrna  will offer a three part webinar, “Listening to Babies”  in 2015  for 2 hours on each date, later in the year.  Watch this spot or email Myrna to be on the Invitation List.  .  The cost of this webinar for all three parts will be $50.

There will be an opportunity at the end of the Webinars to ask questions about process workshops.

  •  Myrna’s Virginia  and Vancouver Pre and Perinatal Professional Education  started in the spring of 2013.  The advanced education started with Module 5 in 2014, and  will be open for all past trainees of Myrna and other teachers in the PPN field.  Modules on specific topics continue through to spring 2016.   See the Trainings Section. Myrna has 40 years experience working with people therapeutically as a nurse, public health nurse, family therapist, Integrative Body/Mind Therapist and teacher (IBP), Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist and approved Teacher. She has been in full time private practice and teaching Pre and Perinatal Workshops, Seminars and full Professional Trainings since 2000.

When her children were growing up, she was Director of Nelson and Area Mental Health Services and when they graduated from high school and went off to university she created the Kutenai Institute of Integral Therapies and began teaching about and practicing early trauma resolution work with babies, young children and adults full time.

Myrna is a long term resident of Nelson who practices and teaches here. She also travels to the USA, England and Europe facilitating process workshops for adults and trainings and seminars for professionals and parents.

Myrna is certified by Dr. Ray Castellino to give process workshops and by Dr. William Emerson to facilitate personal intensive workshops. She teaches a 2 1/2 year Pre and Perinatal Professional Training.

Myrna is a  nurse with a Masters’ degree in Family Therapy, a member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, The College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia, The Biodynamic Craniosacral Association of North America, BC Adoption Association, the Western Canada Infant Mental Health Association and the American Association of Prenatal and Perinatal Health and Psychology.

Myrna is married and has three grown children. She and her partner, Ken, live in the country where they are hikers, avid gardeners and explorers of community and spiritual consciousness.
